A Salute to Our Heros Past and Present

Thank you to all of our American Soldiers who have sacrificed so much that we may enjoy living the free life we do every day. A special thanks to our fathers and grandfathers who served in years gone by. Remember our troops who are serving today in all parts of this crazy world ~ let's pray for their safe return. Remember -- Freedom Isn't Free!!! Happy Memorial Day!

Blue Ribbon Art Work

This beautiful kitty was drawn by one of the wonderful art students who attend the high school where I work. This particular piece was drawn by a 9th grader who won a blue ribbon for best graphite/pencil drawing. I thought this little guy or gal was a sweet little critter for everyone to enjoy :)

More Blue...

These are some of the toys we keep on hand at our office in the school the funny thing about all of these toys is that they were all given to me and my co-worker and friend Martha as gifts at different times over the years - we especially like the different buttons that play music or that have funny sayings when you press them.

Blue Relaxation...

In keeping with the May blue theme. This fun little bench was in front of a neat little restraunt called "Critters" on the beach in St. Pete Fl. The restraunt sits on the water and looks like a house from the street. Once inside you cannot believe just how big the "house" is and it has outside eating right on the water. What a charming place to eat - the seafood is fresh and delicious. The bench caught my eye because of the fun saying ~ we should all live by this :) p.s. Happy Mother's Day!!!!!
